With a career spanning more than 30 years, he has established himself as one of the world’s premier performers across stage, film, and television. His extensive television credits include The Steve Harvey Show, The Soul Man, The Proud Family, The Last O.G., Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, Cedric the Entertainer Presents, and most recently starring in and executive producing the CBS hit comedy The Neighborhood. His film work spans comedy and drama, with memorable roles in the Barbershop franchise, Johnson Family Vacation, The Original Kings of Comedy, First Reformed, Madagascar, Planes, and more. He has also earned numerous honors, including multiple NAACP Image Awards and a 2023 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series for The Neighborhood. Beyond entertainment, he is an accomplished author of the 2023 novel Flipping Boxcars and an entrepreneur who launched the Setta wine brand in honor of his late mother, Rosetta B. Kyles, as well as AC Barbeque in collaboration with longtime friend Anthony Anderson.
